Dear Olympic Man,
In these Olympic games, in this age, during the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, light your heart and color the sky over your podium with the color of shame-sadness-outrage. The world and too many people suffer for what you represent. Freedom, oppressed by the limit.
Only in this way sport will open the eyes to politics. Economy won’t be an Olympic value anymore. Your form will correspond to substance. Sport will be what would and should be. A loyal comparison with the other, with your limit.
Otherwise go on “per-forming” for yourself, pent-up inside the enclosure of your illusion. Illusion of being a free, great, omnipotent man, risen on the roof of a world that is not the one you live in, but built into your own image in order to sustain your personal illusion. Oblivious of what is around you, armoured inside a house (oikos, in ancient greek), economic with an end in yourself.
Don’t let Olympic games in Peking being remembered as an enclosure.
Collective illusion of freedom.
Take a smoke signal and color the sky red!
